Quality Beechwood Butchers Block

Best Butchers Block

If you're looking for a top-quality Butcher's Block then I think this one from Stellar Cookware is excellent.

Not only does this butchers block look good but it certainly feels like if it's cared for properly it will last a lifetime; made from solid beechwood and at 40mm deep it's nice and sturdy.

It's a great size too - not too big and certainly not too small at 40 x 26 x 4cm with a good weight to it but the handy finger grips make it easy to move. The 4 non-slip feet make it safe to chop and slice without the board sliding.

As with any other wooden board, it isn't suitable for the dishwasher and nor should it be allowed to soak in water.  After a nice wash in hot sudsy water, dry with a piece of kitchen towel and allow the board to dry thoroughly.

Stains can be bleached out by rubbing with a cut lemon and regular coating with Olive oil will prolong its life and keep it looking like new.

I'm also loving this Extendable Trivet  - it's really handy, extending from 14 to 20 cm.

The partially concealed anodised aluminium batons make it able to open or close to the size you need to accommodate pots and pans ranging from 14 to 20cm protecting your work surface from damage.

When closed it's only 14 x 15cm so it's easy to store in a drawer and ready to grab whenever you need it.

I've reviewed a lot of Stellar products over the years and I must say they've all gone beyond my expectations both with quality and life expectancy.
