There are no fancy spices or expensive ingredients to buy either. To find out what the big secret is then read on.

What's the secret?

A packet mix! Yep, it's true - Knorr Naturally Tasty packet mixes have been designed to make authentic, great-tasting meals that are quick and easy to prepare.

Of course, I love cooking and so I wouldn't normally use a packet mix but having been sent some to try I have to say I'm impressed and love that they contain real vegetables and all the herbs, spices and seasoning.

Knorr naturally tasty range

Tuna Napolitana, Chili con Carne, Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese, Moroccan Chicken and Beef Tagine.

With no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are also free from MSG, HVO and HVP; I must say I am impressed.

I think the 'Shopping List' on the front of each recipe mix is a great idea since you can then easily add a few extra ingredients to your basket without worrying if you've missed anything you might need.

The photos show only half the amount (plenty for two) see my top tip below.

Top Tip!

Save money, if you're cooking for just 2 people of even just for yourself, you can half all of the ingredients including the packet (just be sure to store it in an airtight container and use the following week).

Once cooked this makes a good lunchtime snack to take to work and can be either popped in the microwave or I say it's still as yummy eaten cold.

Each Naturally Tasty pack makes 4 servings and with an RRP of just 89p which I say is a really good price.  Available nationwide including Tesco, Asda, Ocado, Sainsbury's and Morrisons.

Last week I made Spaghetti Bolognese and do you know what Paul (the husband) said?

That was the best bolognese you've ever made. He didn't know I'd used a packet mix. Oh my goodness I'm wondering why I bother cooking sometimes!

I think I'll just stock up on a cupboard full of Knorr Naturally Tasty packet mixes.

  1. We eat a lot of tuna and pasta meals. We never usually use packet mixes, but this one does look as if it's worth investigating!

  2. Yum! I love tuna, and love it when combined with a nice tomato sauce and pasta or rice.
