Harrods of London - The Food Hall

Harrods is Britain's most famous store and possibly the most famous store in the world.

So after my trip to Borough Market with a one-day travel card in hand, I was off again on the underground to catch a tube to Knightsbridge.

Once at Knightsbridge, just follow the way out sign that says Brompton Road and when you get to the top of the stairs you'll be right next to an entrance to Harrods.

I realise there are a lot of photos here, but I don't think you'll find them boring. Just look at the ceiling and chandelier - what an amazing fruit design.

And you'll find a memorial to Princess Diana and Dodi.

Can you see the two wine glasses in the picture? They remain unwashed and were found in their hotel room the night they were both (very sadly) killed.

If you're ever in London I can also highly recommend a trip to the famous Borough MarketI hope you enjoyed the pictures, I can never go to London without a visit to Harrods.

  1. Ahhhhhhh! Spiritual home. Spent so much time there when living in London - the food bars there were ideally placed between work & albert hall - and great when you see it being cooked in front of you - can't be fresher. Like the ultimate 'fast' food. And the ingredients - when you can't find what you need anywhere else - they always have it.

  4. I spent hours there looking at every little thing. I got sugar canisters there that sit on my counter. Love looking at them. Loved this post. Brought back good memories. :-)
