Steak and Caramelised Onion Melt - Pub Grub

No real recipe for this one - so it's nice and simple.

Get yourself a baguette and slice it in half.  Top with thinly sliced cooked steak and caramelised onions.  Finish off with a good helping of grated cheddar cheese and a few fried chillies - then melt under the grill.

To make caramelised onions - just slice thinly and cook gently and slowly in a little oil and butter.  Try not to stir too often - just don't have the heat high or they will burn.  Cooking slowly is the secret here. Add a pinch of sugar and they will begin to look and smell delicious.

See you after our holiday's!

Oodles of Noodles

Oodles of nice and spicy noodles, just add chicken, baby pak choi and any other other good veggies you fancy. A great way to eat more veg!

Oodles of Noodles

There's no real recipe to this one, just the right spices.

All you need is fresh egg noodles - available in any good supermarket.  Buy enough for two or four people.  Don't be getting involved in making this for loads of people as your wok will be over crowded and they will be stodgy.

Chicken and Bacon Melt - Nice Pub Grub

Chicken fillets topped with crispy bacon and melty cheese, add chips and a side salad and you have one tasty meal!

And before you ask - yes I did eat it all up thank you very much it was very nice too. I don't expect it would have done me a bit of good (bikini wise) but hey ho it was nice!

Shallot and Bourbon Cream Sauce for Steak

You can't beat a nice juicy steak and chips with all the trimmings including a lovely sauce to go with it.

Remember the bottle of Four Roses Bourbon I was kindly sent?  I made a sauce and couldn't post a picture as every picture came out awful.
