House of Fraser - Tefal Ingenio Frypan Review

Spring and summer 2016 sees a fantastic range of kitchen cookware and accessories available in House of Fraser; in fact they have all the kitchen essentials you should be buying.

I love cooking and I do a lot of it!  One thing I can't live without in my kitchen is a good frying pan and I particularly like this 30cm Tefal Ingenio Frypan.  Even if you're not so into cooking as much as I am, a good non-stick frying pan will make your life so much easier.  Also available in 28cm size and there's a gorgeous set of saucepans in the range too, all available in House of Fraser.

Suitable for all heat sources except induction and can be used in the oven (without the lid) up to a maximum temperature of 250C/ 475F

The handle which is sold separately, simply clicks on or off at the press of a button.  The pan is so good looking it's brilliant for taking straight to the table.  By the way, Tefal do have pans in the Ingenio range that are suitable for induction hobs.

Fantastic if you're as short of space in the kitchen as I am, as the pans stack inside each other.
Ingenio Enamel features Tefal`s durable Intensium non-stick coating, which is extremely resistant and can be used with metal utensils (except whisks and knives).
The enamel exterior means it's easy to clean.  This actual pan is made from aluminum so therefore it's lightweight and quick to heat up.  There's a Thermo-Spot heat indicator for optimum cooking temperature; once it turns red you're good to cook away, just turn down the heat to keep the desired heat.

Here's a picture of the bottom of the pan; just in case you like to check these things out!

All in all I say this is a brilliant pan and well worth the money; at the time of writing it's a serious billy bargain at just £22.40 + the handle which is £12.00

Top Tip!  Remember you only really need to buy one handle as you can remove it just as easily as you can pop it back on when you need to move the pan.

Pop over to House of Fraser and their great range for spring and summer 2016

Disclosure - I was given a product of my choice in exchange for a review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.  I was not required to write anything positive.

  1. This sounds like a magic pan, Jan! I have always wanted something like this (seriously!) and now my wish can be fulfilled. Thanks for this review. I have a House of Fraser in Edinburgh (actually two!) so I need to get this serious bargain before they sell out.

I love to hear from everyone so thanks for taking the time to comment.
