Philly Chilli Pasta Bake - Super Quick Recipe

Philadelphia have just launched some super speedy recipes that even Paul (the husband) could make!  I was asked to give one of them a go to see if they really are that easy and quick.

Okay my picture isn't the best but at least you can see I really did make it.

The recipe was as easy as 123 and ready in no time.

You can this and loads more recipes using Philly over at

Serves 4
Time to make:
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time:: 20 minutes

Ingredients you will need:
300g extra lean minced beef (I used 500g since that was the amount in the packet)!
1 large jar ready made chilli con carne sauce
300g penne pasta
100g Philadelphia Light with Garlic & Herbs
1 egg
150g tub o% fat Greek yogurt
40g reduced fat cheddar cheese, grated

salad, to serve
1. Heat the oven to 180 C, Gas 4. Heat a large frying pan, add the mince and brown then add the chilli sauce and cook over a reduced low heat for 5 minutes.

2. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack and drain well. Mix with the chilli sauce to combine and pour into an ovenproof dish.

3. In a bowl with a whisk, mix the Philly, egg and yogurt and half of the cheddar cheese. Pour the Philly mix over the top of the saucy pasta and top with the remaining cheese.

I then sprinkled a little chilli powder over the top for added interest!

Bake for 20 minutes until browned on top and serve with salad.
