3 Recipe Ideas For Easter

With Easter approaching and the weather remaining wintry, it seems as though we'll all still be eating hotpots when it arrives.  However, it only takes a few days for the outlook to change dramatically.  With that optimism in mind, I've devised a light menu for Easter to avoid simply having a roast dinner.

It's only right to give a tip of the hat to the traditions of the season by including egg in your meal and this delicious 'breakfast salad' is the perfect way to do that.

Mini Hot Cross Bun and Butter Puddings

Mini hot cross buns baked in a light fluffy egg custard, they not only look good they taste good too.
Should you happen to have any hot cross buns leftover, even if they are a little on the dry side, fear not!  In less than 30 minutes you can transform them into this rather nice dessert.
These are really easy to do, all you need is 4 ramekins or of course you could make one big one in a small dish.

On the subject of chocolate, I was very kindly sent this lovely looking Caramel Chocolate, Easter Egg Sandwich!
As you know not being a great lover of things chocolaty, once again Paul (the husband) was only too keen to give it a try!  His verdict: Totally Delicious!
Seriously creamy, rich caramel and white chocolate, sprinkled with caramel pieces and sandwiched between caramel chocolate shells.
Thank you to Hotel Chocolat and Beth.
Ps: Don't forget to enter that competition!
