Mezzaluna from Vacu Vin - Review

This Mezzaluna from Vacu Vin really is a great kitchen mutli-tasker. 

  'The double-sided handle means both hands are off the chopping surface, making it virtually impossible for even the most clumsy to cut themselves'.......this is a good thing with me in charge of one!

Safety First:
Vacu Vin have taken precaution when they designed the blade.  It simply folds away after use, ensuring that it can’t catch you, or little fingers unawares.

Further more it won’t get blunted by rubbing against items in a draw. 

Easy to Use:

Just unclip the blade from the handle and pull the blade away in the opposite direction.

The blade then cleverly swivels right the way round and clicks into place.  That's it, your mezzaluna is ready to use!

 As you can see it chops coriander very nicely, and it does a good job of slicing a pizza as I found out last night.  

And More:

The Vacu Vin Mezzaluna can also be used to prepare meat, vegetables, fruit, herbs, chocolate and bread too thanks to it's simple chopping or rocking action.

Cleaning and Caring:

Just wash in a bowl of nice hot soapy water or if you prefer it is also dishwasher safe - make sure it's dry before locking the blade back into place and storing.
