Harrods Seasonal Wine Collection Hamper - Review

Having recently been asked to review a hamper from Harrods and I chose their Seasonal Wine Collection Hamper.  Just as you would expect from Harrods, the hamper was perfect and an absolute delight to both receive and open.

The packaging alone looks impressive, I won't be able to throw the box away as it's so nice!
Even a Christmas card was included.

Standard delivery was quick and the hamper arrived in just two days.
Inside the outer 'Harrods' box was the hamper box itself (above) with two gold coloured ropes making it easy to pull the hamper out.

All six bottles of wine were very well protected, encased in molded polystyrene, there was also a lid which I'd removed for the picture:

 And a Harrods Corkscrew too!

What about the wines inside in box?
 Text taken from Harrods website:
Cusumano Nadaria Syrah:  An impressive wine displaying plum and damson combined with hints of blackberry bush and leather.

Aliança, Quinta da Garrida Reserva:  Combining classic Portuguese characters with modern wine-making, the 2007 has juicy black cherry appeal.

Gouguenheim Pinot Noir:  A high quality wine from a unique terroir in the Andes foothills of Argentina.

Borsao Selección Blanco Campo de Borja:  Possesses a yellow straw colouring with powerful aromas of citric and tropical fruits. 75cl.

Seifried Aotea Nelson Sauvignon Blanc:  With lovely fruit characters, the 2011 Aoetea Sauvignon Blanc has a zesty finish.

Circumstance Cape Coral Mourvedre Rosé:  A beautifully dry, mineral and firm wine.

All in all:
We are so looking forward to Christmas to get a chance to try these lovely wines.  If you want to impress someone then a hamper from Harrods is the way to go - total luxury from beginning to end.

Harrods have many kinds of food and wine hampers to suit all tastes and a vast range of budgets from £29.95 to £10,000!

A big thank you to Elly and Harrods for sending me The Seasonal Wine Collection to review.
